Professional Liability Insurance:

I maintain a financial loss liability insurance with Allianz Versicherungs-AG, 10900 Berlin. The insurance cover does not extend to liability claims arising from activities conducted via law firms or offices established or maintained in other states, in connection with the provision of advice on and involvement with non-European law, or the attorney's appearance before non-European courts.

Alternative Dispute Resolution:

If you are a consumer, you have the option to submit disputes via the EU platform for online out-of-court dispute resolution at the following link: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/ for resolution. I do not participate in this out-of-court dispute resolution procedure as there is no legal obligation to do so.

General information obligation pursuant to Section 36 VSBG:

Competent consumer arbitration board: For financial disputes arising from the mandate relationship, the Schlichtungsstelle der Rechtsanwaltschaft (Lawyers' Arbitration Board), Rauchstraße 26, 10 787 Berlin, www.s-d-r.org , is responsible. I am in principle willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before the Lawyers' Arbitration Board. Alternatively, you may request mediation through the competent Rechtsanwaltskammer Freiburg (https://www.rak-freiburg.de/) .
